Fairway Sports Bar & Grill: Your Go-To Sports Bar in Eastpointe

Stopped into this bar last night on my way home from work. Ordered wings for myself and my husband. The most important things I noticed, and reasons I'll be back. 1. It's clean 2. The locals in the bar were all nice people 3. They had correctly made drinks 4. Their food was absolutely delicious (We ordered traditional wings, with buffalo sauce and Asian bbq)

We had a memorial service here for our nieces boyfriend that had passes away from cancer. They bar and people running the bar was very nice and thoughtful for us having over 50 people. Thank you and appreciate your service.

Great little dive bar in Eastpointe. I'm told they have legendary wings but we always get there too late. There is nothing special about Fairway, it's just a great neighborhood bar. I just had to update this review. We had the wings tonight and they are fantastic. I had the bourbon BBQ and it was awesome! The boneless wings were heavily sauced and crispy. The insides we soft and warm. The food is wonderful, I'll definitely be back!!

I love this place, beers are cheap, $3.50 a pop depending on what you get. This place has better food than most other bars I’ve been to. Quesadillas are phenomenal. I come here specifically to their Golden BBQ Sauce. It’s so good I would fight a child for the last gram of it left on earth. Wings are literally the best in the area. It’s a great place to watch sports, they always turn off the jukebox during games. No matter what bartender there is, or how many people, service is fantastic and fast. Overall atmosphere is perfect but some of it patrons provide that just enough of a strange environment where it USUALLY(98%) isn’t a problem, but enhances the bar experience. One time I saw an older fella rip a book out of anothers guys hands that was reading at the bar, just so he could smell the pages. It’s people like that, that make you want to come back, just for the opportunity to see something wild like that. If I were a billionaire I still would come drink here.

They have dollar wings on Saturdays. There was five of us. The bartender was the only one working. She was prompt, checked in on us regularly and took care of us very well. The wings were delicious. Go check them out. Oh, and the drinks are very well priced...

I love this place. The food is always so good and there has not been one thing I haven't tried that I didn't like. The staff is always nice and always there if you need anything. The locals are super sweet as well. It is always clean and It is defiantly a great environment. I recommend friends and family to try their food especially the wings. Never disappointed with the food or service. This is a place to try!!!

Known for their wings and it’s true, they’re really good! Good little venue for some live music. Has a “hole in the wall” vibe which is a good thing in my book.

Years back, M-live did an article and had this place listed in the top 10 for chicken wings in the state. In fact, they supposedly were award winning. Well last week I finally got the chance to eat at this place after putting it off for quite some time. One thing I did not realize about this place was that it was in a strip mall. Another thing that caught me by supprise is that it was kind of a dive bar, in a good way. It was blue-collar with a pool table and solid happy hour beer prices. The service was exceptional. The waitress and even some of the regulars were welcoming and very outgoing. I asked about the wings and they all seemed to take great pride in their them. I decided to order 6 of their wings with 2 sauces; the korean and the chuck. The Korean sauce was like a thick sweet soy sauce, whereas the the chuck was kind of like spicy, sweet bbq The quality of the chicken seemed very good. They were fresh and meaty. They were kind of plain though in the way they were cooked. They were just deep fried and nothing really signature about them. As far as the sauses, I thought they were decent but nothing I'd go out and buy or anything. With that said, there were about 12 (give or take) sauces to choose from. Overall, I do wish the wings would have had a little bit more of a signature feature to them. But when the waitress asked me how they were, I said they were great. And that's because they were great. I was just expecting a little bit more to them I guess. But you could tell that they put a lot of pride in their food. And that alone would bring me back to this place.
